Why Heli?

Statewide Forklifts cater to some of the heaviest & harshest industries in the country, in particular, our rental fleet supplies all types of equipment to the building industry. As such SWF needed machinery that is rugged enough, and up to the day-to-day challenges, and rough conditions that are so often present in the harsher industries. Heli provides good old fashioned TOUGH equipment with no built-in spare parts “targets” and as such make them an ideal choice for large rental fleets such as ours. They can cop a beating and keep coming back for more, and most importantly don’t cost the rental department a fortune to keep repairing or replacing damaged parts.

Heli has been the number one manufacturer in China for 35 years and is currently the 7th largest manufacturer of materials handling equipment in the world, interestingly, several of the other suppliers in the top 10 use several different brands to obtain their top 10 rating, whereas Heli does it with one brand. HELI.

The 7 major machine manufacturing bases are located in the east, south, west, north and central regions of China. The core components are self-manufactured: transmission and driving axle, high-strength casting, cylinder, steering axle, attachment, fork, motor, battery, forklift harness, hose, etc.

Their support over the years has been first class, and with the recent opening of a Sydney based warehouse it means they have improved on the time it takes to obtain any parts that might be required. The fact that we have around 300 new machines in the warehouse in Wetherill Park means that in a lot of cases lead time for new machinery is greatly reduced.

Established in 1958, Heli are world leaders in Lithium battery technology and it is fair to say Lithium is the way of the future. SWF has been supplying lithium powered machines for almost 10 years. In that time, we have not had the need to replace one battery. This is also a bonus to running and maintaining a rental fleet. Taking into account the fast-charging times, the ability to charge and not needing to refill batteries, the long shift life and general longevity of the Lithium battery it is by far the best option for both rental and ownership.
